The tournament thread for Get Quabbled at a Coffee Shop 2 is here. The tournament starts on the 17th of June at 1:00 p.m. CST.
Ruleset:
Neutral Stages:
Poison Apple Inn
Giant's Table
Gepetto's Workshop
Romeo Drive
Mega Template
Counterpick Stages:
Kung Fu Dojo
Bell Tower
5 Stock
8 Minutes
Important Note on Mega Template: The walls on the stage are not infinite and can be stood on or passed over. If you do this, the current game will be given to your opponent. After 3 subsequent times it is done within the tournament, violating this rule will result in disqualification.
The "unofficial" RRH ban is in play.
Upon Sudden Death, the player who had the most Slam meter wins. If one player has an active Slam, but the meter has been depleted lower than the other player's inactive Slam meter, the player with the active Slam is still considered to have the lead. If both players have the same amount of Slam, restart with a 1 stock 2 minute match.
Excessive stalling will result in disqualification. This doesn't include camping.
Upon glitching out of bounds, restart match with same stocks/time limit.

You can register for GQ@CS2 at this link: challonge.com/tournaments/signup/R6qhW1zaVF
If you have any trouble registering online before the tournament begins or do not have an account, as long as you are available just before the tournament begins, I can add you in. Just make sure to contact/@ me in the within the tournament and netplay channels of the discord.
I will be contacting the players who need to start their matches in the Matches and Scores channel of the server.
Tournament Delay Rules:
If I call a match but one of the players is not available in the first round of winners, I will give 5 minutes for the player to come by and notify me that they can play the set. If they are still not available, I will count a match in favor of the person available and give an additional 3 minutes to come by. If they still are not available, I will give the set to the person available.
If one of the players is not available in the second round of winners and the first two rounds of losers, I will give 3 minutes for the player to come by and notify me that they can play the set. If they are still not available, I will count a match in favor of the person available and give an additional 2 minutes to come by. If they still are not available, I will give the set to the person available.
If both players are not available in winners round 1, the same rules will apply to one of the players at random, meaning that one of the players will be given the game/set at random with the same time intervals.
If both players are available, both opponents have 5 minutes to set up their matches accordingly for every set. If the set has not started by then, you must contact me if there is a problem. Otherwise, I will give a game to one of the opponents at random.
Since this is a netplay tournament, connection problems might occur. If connection issues delay a set, you must contact me in order to try to test the connections of both opponents with other people. The person who is determined to have the better connection will continue forward in the tournament normally. The other person will lose the set. If both opponents have a normal connection, the person moving forward will be determined at random. Do not play any friendlies here, or I will disqualify the opponent who would otherwise be playing a tournament set.
In the case of the rounds not specified, an instant DQ will be granted to the person absent, no exceptions.
If a set is going to be delayed due to some problems connecting between players, contact me in order to make sure that I know and I will give typically 5-10 minutes in order to try to fix these issues. There have been problems with our tournaments where an entire bracket is delayed because 1 set took too long to finish, so you have to make sure that you have fully communicated with me on these issues for full understanding.
It is recommended that you contact me to record the set scores. If you have a challonge account but don't contact me, you have full responsibility to record your set scores. If you do not record your scores or if you haven't contacted me and there is hold up in the tournament, expect for me to contact you for the scores or if there is any issue of any kind. Besides the instances listed above, not responding to me will result in a forfeit/DQ.
Important Addition to the Rules: If both opponents agree to a banned stage, you can play on it for one match in the set. This does not apply to the time or lives count. If the time or lives count is changed from the given rules, I will give you a warning to correct the issue. If you do not correct it immediately, I will have the perpetrator lose the set immediately. If the perpetrator cannot be accurately determined, I will knock down both players from winners or losers bracket. If the settings on the slam meter are changed at all, I will treat it the same way as the time or lives count.
