Shrek vs Shrek 50:50
Neutral game: Just like Shrek, Shrek have a decent neutral game. Shrek can do very cool stuff from walls. Movement wise both Shrek and Shrek can do Noino boost-jumping for a great burst of speed. If Shrek gets an air grab around a wall he can actually get a confirmed slam by doing his wall infinite which both Shrek and Shrek can do. This can of course be confirmed from ground grab too. Ground grabs also gives both Shrek and Shrek the opportunity to walk and regrab untill Shrek or Shrek reaches the wall which means neither Shrek or Shrek do not have to be close to a wall if grabbing on the ground. In general air grabs are better though, which means a lot of the neutral game will be around a wall. All this also applies to Shrek. Punish game: All of Shrek's (and Shrek's) punish game is done with a wall. Airgrab or ground grab regrabbing untill wall is the optimal setup for this. It is shown here: Shrek can also hit ground grab -> Shield -> Anti air x3 -> Aerial for ful slam meter, but it is super frame perfect and not recomended. This applies to Shrek too. Final conclusion:Shrek and Shrek have VERY simular neutral games and punish games. This makes every game very even, and very hype. Its one of the few matchups in a fighting game, where I see no way the other character is better than the other. This make fair and great battles.Tournaments played with this matchup: Coming soon...
