Don't know if this is known by other people? Discovered this just a few hours ago. If you reflect an object (as in a bench, a saucepan, etc.) enough times it'll go more red than usual and appear to have a fire effect on it. If this then hits an opponent they will be slammed.

Someone wanna check the exact damage multiplier from powershielding and figure up how long each item takes to auto-Slam? Or even if it's percent-based at all? I do wanna get some research and numbers on this.

This happened during Slam in the Swamp. I've known this for a while.

5 powershieldings or more will result in a slam, 4 will result in dizziness and huge damage, and 3, 2 and 1 will result in additional damage for each consecutive powershield. I'll check the damage multiplier later.

Do different items require different amounts of powershielding?I don't think I've ever gotten an instaslam with Robin Hood arrows but I'm pretty sure the damage does increase if you powershield them.

Potentially. While getting some HnP data I tested object damage and a thrown object does 20%. I couldn't be bothered to get a second pad to test at the time but I presume each powershield adds additional damage proportional tot the original, so if RH's arrows did less than 20 it would take more powershields to reach Slam damage.

All stage objects, regardless of size, will autoslam after 5 or more consecutive powershields. As for Hood's arrows, I'm not sure, as my best reflection count is 3, and I don't remember if it did more damage or not.

If everyone gets super good at power shielding to the point where a thrown object will most likely result in a slam that would be hella hype

If everyone gets super good at power shielding to the point where a thrown object will most likely result in a slam that would be hella hype Shouldn't be that hard, considering there are 4 (I think) Mega Challenges that requires the use of the technique.

If your timing is on point you can also regrab reflected items to reset the timer and either throw the item away or play the World's Deadliest Game Of Catch.
