Hello, this is the last thread on the list before we publish a new ruleset. What changes should we make to the stagelist, if any? I think the Trophy Room is a great stage apart from the trophies with very large hitboxes, getting in the way of movement and projectiles. Does this constitute it being taken off the neutral list? Possibly? Who knows? Please give your opinions.
Personally, I've realized that a few of our neutrals favor certain characters more than I'd like, SO, I propose we do this: Medieval Chef (Neutral) Romeo Drive (Neutral) Giant's Table (Neutral) Fat Boy (CP) Gepetto's Workshop (CP) Dragon's Hall (CP) Bean Stalk (CP) Trophy Room (CP)
This way, the striking would simply be 1 strike, then the other player picks. Winner of each match would get 2 bans, none if 3/5. Give me some input, please.

I think trophy room should remain a legal counterpick. The items allow for more unique strategies that I don't think ruin the traditional game play.
Also what is separating the neutral stages from counter picks right now? Is it the sizes of the stages and platform levels?

My personal stage list would be:
Medieval Chef (Neutral) Romeo Drive (Neutral) Giant's Table (Neutral) Fat Boy (CP) Gepetto's Workshop (CP)

I've been wanting to ban Trophy Room ever since I unlocked it, and not because of anything to do with the items. It's because of the pockets in the corners of the walls away from the platforms. You can just wall jump back and forth to the top of the stage and stall there literally forever if you want. If you have an aerial or wall projectile you can even attack from up there, and opponents on the ground can't do anything to get up to you safely.
Giant's Table I think should be a CP because it has so many items and weird things on the ground and is huge.

Editing to avoid triple-posting: Has there been any discussion on Poison Apple Inn? Of all the banned stages sans Mine Cart it seems the most innocent and I've never seen it discussed. Anyone up for up for re-testing it sometime in the current meta?
And Soup, we aren't banning Beanstalk. It's too fun and there really isn't any reason to. There's no broken items on that stage (even the homing gun is useless on a stage that size) and most characters can move around the platforms with relative ease. A Dragon's Hall ban I could see after more testing, tbh, but not yet.

I love the minecart stage itself but there's a 1/3 chance of getting a slam potion after getting slammed. As much as I honestly like the stage, free slams should never happen in tournament play

As much as I honestly like the stage, free slams should never happen in tournament play Don't Slam off the top left, then, lmao. But really, the Slam potion that it gives you wears off quicker than a normal Slam anyway so if you see the opponent get Slammed off the top left you just avoid them for about ten seconds and you're good. It's really not as big of a deal as every says. The Sonic Spindash item is just as broken tbh, you're basically guaranteed a full Slam meter with it and it actually lasts.

I would love Kung Fu Dojo in doubles, but def not singles viable imo. The ice wand and invincibility potions are suuper common on Romeo Drive, so I don't factor them into stage discussion at all. One of the portals on Romeo Drive gives you a guaranteed ice wand every time you touch it.

I want to see the Poison Apple Inn become a counterpick for Doubles, possibly even singles.

Is the Bell Tower banned solely by the Viking Helmet or are there additional reasons?
