Yo, I'm m0th64 from Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Good luck with picking up the game! Gingerbread Man is a good character, so you made the right choice. I wish I could help you with the save file, as I understand that there is one floating around somewhere, but I don't know where it is as I 100%ed the game manually. did you 100% it on dolphin or on wii? and is pinocchio competitively viable? who are the figureheads of the community? if you 100%ed it on a wii download gcmm for homeb rew backup the save and put on a dropbox please. if you 100%ed it on dolphin and know where your saves are upload that do dropbox please.
-BoastingToast is currently #1 in the world. Eirexe was second before his retirement. Kirby's loved by the community and formerly #1, but he's old school. that guy who's absolutely pissed off and RedRidingShrek are some of the most knowledgeable new-school players that lurk around here. Sometimes people like to say I'm sort of a figurehead but that's just because they don't realize I'm bad at video games 
-Pinnochio is decent. I think he could move up a little on the tier list but so far I haven't seen many good Pinnochio players. He has range issues but his combo game is quite good, and he suits a more aggressive playstyle well. He struggles in a couple of matchups and Gingerbread Man does pretty much everything he does better, unless you just really want Pinnochio's aerial and wall attack. With a strong secondary or just a lot of time put into the character you could probably main him.

Hiya! I'm Kfaerna. I used to play competitive Melee, but once I realized I was no good at it and wasn't going far I decided to drop it for a more fun game, Shrek Super Slam. Currently I'm having a lot of fun with the game and hoping to learn a lot from playing it (me and my friend also might be hosting a netplay monthly, which is super excited, it's gonna take a bit to get it set up though). Currently I can play the game at a pretty high level with everything discovered pre-SitS and I'm learning everything post-SitS (thanks to Moth64 on Reddit), also because I have a lot of time and no life I've been searching for techs and stuff in Billy and Mandy (which I actually had a physical copy of for both Gamecube and Wii!). So hopefully that game has *something* in it. I had tried to mod Shrek Super Slam, but honestly just didn't want to mess with the really complicated file system. I don't think modding for it will go too far right now (the work EIREXE has done is amazing). I used to do SSBB modding, but I'm not sure if I want to do that anymore. After making two Brawl Minus type mods (both used Brawl Minus as a base and made Brawl Minus somehow *more* overpowered) I think I'm pretty much done with that. If anyone has an questions they can PM me or reply to this.

Hey guys, I'm Tuck. Like a lot of people here, I am a Smash player, craving for new things. I stumbled across SSS recently, and my god it is a blast. I haven't unlocked everything yet, I'm currently in the process of doing so, but I love so many aspects of this game and I cannot wait to compete. Cheers! Hi, I'm RGG. I'm a Smash player who has been looking at this scene for a while to see where it was going. I'm glad that it's still going strong and will continue become even better. Not going to lie, the disabling items code felt encouraging to officially join as a player. I'm a Texas player who technically doesn't know who he's going to stick with long term, but Puss in Boots is the closest one right now. Whenever I can, I'll probably participate over netplay since the game hasn't left complete meme status yet and therefore doesn't have a scene. Overall just wanted to say hi and to give a helping hand in this game's meta.

If you haven't already, join the Discord, it's pretty active and gets a lot of discussion, and people organise netplay games pretty frequently. Glad to see my code bought you in, it's not perfect yet but it's a nice step forward. |

Well, as of this writing I have participated in my first tournament (Absolutely Pissed Off 2), and while it may not have been my best introduction to tournament play (drama), when I was playing it was great fun and I am proud to be a part of this sometimes-wild, always-strong community! I'll be sure to try to enter and participate in as many tournaments as I can in the future! Can't wait for Slamtober, by the way.
