So I know it's a super small scene as of the moment but would there be any tournaments or smash fests of sorts in the Dallas Fort Worth area of Texas? I would like to meet with people to play and Learn.

I don't think so, most tournaments are on netplay.You could take a setup to a Monday Night Melee or something people will probably play against you

Not as far as I know, but if you bring a setup to a Smash event people will play, because Smashers are all giant memelords.
