Was playing about with Pinocchio (who is still waiting for a character board) when I noticed an interesting property of his slam. Basically, if you start up Pinocchio's slam and fly into the fireplace in Gepetto's, the confusion hits you and knocks you out of your slam without depleting your slam meter. This theoretically allows you to continue Pinocchio's slam infinitely until you land a hit. I've tested this with the following characters, and have found it only to work with Pinocchio (possibly because of the forward-placed hitbox?).
Works: Pinocchio Doesn't Work: Donkey Puss in Boots Gingerbread Man Fiona G-nome Dronkey Quasimodo Humpty Dumpty Luna
Update: As expected, the exploit does not work on Medieval Chef due to the damaging properties of the fireplace.

Has anyone found any other uses for the fireplaces aside from their intended use?

For mad stylin', you can soup'd slam your opponent and carry them into the fireplace (Gepetto's). They are hit a fraction of a second earlier so you can escape the confusion. If this works on Medieval Chef, then it gives a slightly faster way of reducing the opponent's SLAM meter compared to a standard grab.

I use fireplaces for blow combos as HnP.

Anthrax cannot slam cancel on Geppeto's.

I've used the stun from the fireplace to effectively infinite with arrows before. The knockback sends them into the fireplace and restuns them.
