I just figured out how to control the bugging out that Humpy Dumpty does during his souper jab combos (the thing where he does multiple attacks at once) and I figured out how to do it with all characters and without grabs. Luna's frog turns into an invisible projectile, Robin Hood shoots arrows while attacking, Humpy Dumpty does his AAA while shooting birds, etc. Consider the meta broken.

I know you'll probably want to save the explanation until after the next tourney, but can we decide now what god-awful pun we'll use to refer to this tech as? My vote is for ogremented combos.

Nahh, I can go ahead and spill. It's not actually overpowered, just weird. Some characters don't actually seem to benefit from it much at all. It's pretty straight-forward so you'll probably figure it out anyway once you can get back to the game. All you do is initiate a jab combo, then on one of the inputs, you just press A and B together. If that input of the combo has different attacks for A and B, it will buffer one attack, then cancel the animation into another attack. This creates a weird conglomerate of both attacks that has different effects for every character. Some characters get the animation and lag from one move with the hitboxes from a second move, sometimes it adds effects (shieldbreak, etc.) to moves that normally don't have them. Interestingly, if you continue the combo after a successful ogrement, some characters continue buffering multiple moves together. For instance, an ogremented second input followed by a B input will buffer the third hit of both AAB and ABB together.
It seems to be most beneficial to characters like Luna, Robin Hood, Dronkey and Humpty Dumpty (in other words, characters with projectiles in their combos) by allowing them to do both their melee attacks and projectiles together. Characters with weird combos tend to get weirder results (Wolf gets some interesting stuff), while characters with more "normal" combos tend to get more "normal" results. Captain Hook gets some interesting effects on his moves, for instance, but they're still things that make sense.
Ogrement is a fitting name, btw.

I tried this before but wasn't able to do much with HnP. I got his hand to glow and got him to do a combined AAAA/AAAB but it just appears to be the AAAB move with the AAAA animation. Am I missing something?

Am I missing something? No that's about it for Wolf, but it looks really cool. I said his orgements were interesting, I didn't say they were good.

I'm naming Humpty Dumpty's A-O(gre)-B-A combo The Eggsorcist.

He literally spins around and vomits. Puns like this don't come every day.

The 3 frame cancel is the base for most of the modern tech, I knew it existed but I didn't know it also allowed you to cancel uncancellable attacks.

I just tested out some of Dronkey's Ogremented combos and I'd like to share my findings. Also before I get into it, I'd like to say that as far as I can tell, none of these combos are significantly more effective than Dronkey's regular combos. Unless someone who knows more about the game than me can say otherwise, these Ogremented combos are purely novelty. [A-O-A] - The Ass Laser So pretty much all of Dronkey's Ogremented combos do nothing but replace Dronkey's animation with the one for his Jab combo, 'The Ass Flame'. When Ogrementing the A-B-A Laser combo, Dronkey shoots his laser out his ass. It can still be spun and functions just like the regular Laser combo, it just looks funnier. I can't tell if the move actually does any more damage than usual, but it's still pretty great regardless. [A-A-O] - Silent Butt Deadly The Ogremented version of the A-A-B Dronkey Kick combo is similar to the previous combo as it too replaces Dronkey's animation with his ass. It now looks like Dronkey blasts his opponent away with an invisible fart, or bumps them away with his ass. [A-O-O-A/B] - Flying Butt Attack The Ogremented version of the A-B-B-A/B combo is just as useless as the regular version, but now looks like Dronkey hurtles himself ass-first at his opponent. It kinda looks like R. Mika's Flying Peach move from Street Fighter. As for the follow-up input for the combo, I can't seem to make them both happen at the same time. Maybe it can and doesn't show any difference in animation, or doesn't actually make any difference in the attack anyway. So in conclusion, none of Dronkey's Ogremented combos are particularly more effective than his regular combos. They are, however, really funny looking and a great tool for style. Could Dronkey be the most stylish character in the game? Only time will tell. Have I wasted all your time? Most definitely.

G-nome's AAOB does his AAAB move but in about a third of the time. It's so fast that it will literally go through the opponent. G-nome is now officially Sanic.
(EDIT: Same applies to Pinocchio, but it only seems appropriate that he be Knuckles)
It would be nice to know exactly what causes this. In particular, can the same combo be ogremented in two different ways based on which button was pressed first?

According to Eirexe, who has a lot more technical knowledge than I do, it's the 3-frame cancel applied to inputs that can't be cancelled. Don't think it matters which input was pressed first, though, considering I pretty much always get the same result regardless of how I do the input. Though, I could be wrong.
