Hello Everyone! As you may or may not have seen, guests were posting in a game discussion thread, obviously all friends doing this as a joke, and were posting not only stuff that wasn't at all helpful to anyone, but some things that may offend some users visiting. Special thanks to Rubbermaid for reporting the post, as it can be difficult to keep track of everything and this is the most effective way of dealing with these issues. Currently I have disabled guest posting on boards Whilst guests can still access and view all boards on ShrekBoards, only members and staff may be able to post. This was done to reduce spam and make the overall experience for genuine users a lot better. The last thing I want is to be labeled a Nazi Mod, so I think if we need a list of rules on what you can and cannot post, the people who decide what should be on it is our community. Please post your ideas for what the rules should be (if any) or any further ideas as reply's to this thread. Keep on reporting those pesky posts to keep ShrekBoards a decent place for discussion! I guess stuff like this means we made it, huh? - Lalzu

Posting on ShrekBoards for a joke? What kind of dystopic world do we live in?

I saw the thread and some of the things that were being posted were really not ok. I'm glad to see that it's been taken care of.

I don't think any post containing references to eggs but no reference to Humpty Dumpty should be allowed to contain any image of His Eggcelency.

Should we have rules to what you cannot have in your username? One of the recently added members had the f-word in their username.

Is there any mechanic on the forums for word replacements? It'd be great if every time someone tried to type a swear word like they got an icon instead.

There are a couple words I put in there for testing that do that, but I could put in a few more
