Character Matchup Chart

[A51 Trooper]

While we already have a tier list, a character matchup chart would also be nice to see in the future. Is there a way we can create one that looks something like this one? www.ssbwiki.com/Character_matchup_(SSB)

I think we could use the CSS (Character Select Screen) mugshots of the playable characters in the chart, though I don't know how the matchup numbers would look like.

I think it's far far^* too early to be thinking about every matchup. All we really have to go on at the moment are m0th's RH notes and a relatively sparse set of tournament results. Once we actually have meaningful insight into the matchups then we can perhaps be a bit more sincere in evaluating them.

I'd guess it would take at least 1-1,5 years of metagame development in order to get a matchup chart. It would help if we got at least an active main or two for every playable character in tournament play. We could actually make the chart right now, with the matchups being marked with question marks, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

Not only that but I'm also terrible at video games so my notes mean nothing, lol. Give it at least a couple of years and wait for the full roster to be explored competitively.
