I'm gonna have to double-bet here, but my inkling is that EIREXE will end up at 2nd/3rd and kirby at 5th/6th. Even though kirby hasn't played in over a year I feel like his results from back then are too hard to ignore given the breadth of input you've been considering for the rankings, and similarly EIREXE has strong results in both Slam in the Swamp and Shrek it Up!.
Then again you might value the data completely differently to how I expect, and I can definitely see arguments where neither of them make the top 5. It's an interesting one.

I think it's important that everyone keep in mind this list isn't meant to be an accurate snapshot of the metagame right now. Rather, this list ranks players with the most consistent results across the most volatile periods of the scene's development. In other words, take everything here with a grain of salt. For instance, Kirby didn't place worse than second for like seven straight tournaments, a number of which featured other really solid players, so he'll still be ranked really highly even if he hasn't been active recently.
After this is all released I'll probably do a stream or video of some sort where I break down who I think the top 10 or so players right now are.

If the ranking is on consistency of results, you've won tournaments and redridingshrek hasn't yet, even if the competition for RRS was stiffer. You're a bit of a bitch to place to be honest.  We should have put a fantasy up on slam.gg before you released this. |
