One thing I've never seen being talked here are doubles, are they viable in this game?

No, when 1 player loses all their stocks, they continue to spawn until their teammate loses theirs. It's sad that we can't play doubles because of such an obvious bug. Unless it works on FFA, I wouldn't know 'cause I've never played one.

That's just part of the dubz meta. It prevents players from double teaming opponents and forcing a 2v1 situation.

Now that the ruleset for singles have changed, doubles do become viable, though we still need some practice to get used to it.

I sort of agree with the concept of timed matches. If stocks is the way to go however, I would love it if defeated players are made to walk off and stand in the naughty corner as if the whole thing was some sort of LARP.
